About the Role
Design, build, and optimize backend services that support real-time data processing and user-facing applications in a secure and efficient manner.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable server-side applications
- Collaborate with product and design teams to implement new features
- Optimize backend systems for performance and reliability
- Ensure data consistency across distributed systems
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly
- Participate in code reviews and system design discussions
- Support data pipeline infrastructure for analytics and machine learning
- Maintain API standards and documentation
- Integrate third-party services and tools securely
- Contribute to database schema design and query optimization
- Implement monitoring and alerting for backend services
- Enforce security best practices across the stack
- Work with containerized environments and orchestration tools
- Support deployment automation and CI/CD pipelines
- Evaluate new technologies for system improvements
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations
- Mentor junior engineers and share technical knowledge
- Drive improvements in system observability
- Collaborate on incident response and post-mortems
- Balance technical debt with feature development
- Support internationalization and localization efforts
- Design for high availability and fault tolerance
- Participate in on-call rotations
- Contribute to long-term technical strategy

- Master’s degree in a technical field
