Role Overview
As a Senior Art Producer on a freelance basis, you will oversee external art production efforts by managing vendor workflows, tracking asset delivery, and aligning schedules across multiple art teams. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure timely, high-quality output while maintaining clear communication between internal stakeholders and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the progress of assets from external vendors, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to quality benchmarks.
- Coordinate task assignments and timelines across distributed art teams.
- Act as a central point of contact to streamline feedback and review cycles between internal creatives and outsource partners.
- Work closely with outsource teams to maintain consistency, meet project goals, and resolve issues quickly.
- Identify inefficiencies in production workflows and implement practical improvements.
- Keep tracking systems and production documentation updated and accessible.
- Collaborate with internal producers, technical staff, and creative leads to support seamless pipeline operations.
Qualifications
- 5–7 years of experience in art production, project coordination, or production management within game development.
- Proven track record managing outsourced art teams and multiple concurrent asset pipelines.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage schedules, priorities, and detailed documentation.
- Experience with production tracking tools such as ShotGrid, Jira, and Confluence.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity and collaboration.
Preferred Experience
- Background in AAA game development.
- Familiarity with real-time engines, particularly Unreal Engine.
- Prior experience managing remote or outsourced art teams.
