Autodesk Ltd. is hiring a Senior Applied Scientist for our Experience Analytics Team. In this role, you will work to democratize machine learning and analytics across Autodesk products, with a specific focus on providing ML insights to AutoCAD users. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams on instrumentation, experimentation, reporting, analysis, and in-product analytics.
What You'll Do
- Build data access platforms for data scientists and analysts.
- Develop large-scale data structures for business intelligence analytics using data mining tools.
- Write processes to ingest, transform, and distribute data into internal applications.
- Build and scale data infrastructure that powers batch and real-time data processing of billions of records daily.
- Interface with data scientists, analysts, product managers, and all data stakeholders to understand their needs and promote best practices.
- Architect data pipelines that provide fast, optimized, and robust end-to-end solutions.
- Drive and maintain a culture of quality, innovation, and experimentation.
- Work in an Agile environment that focuses on collaboration and teamwork.
What We're Looking For
- A BS or MS in Computer Science or a similar field and 5+ years of professional experience.
- Strong experience with databases such as RDBMS, MongoDB, and DynamoDB.
- Expertise in developing scalable ML & AI technologies and solutions.
- Experience in ML infrastructure & architecture.
- Strong experience with writing and debugging SQL.
- Experience working with big data environments such as Athena, BigQuery, Snowflake, and Hadoop (Hive, Spark).
- Experience with cloud-based data solutions on AWS.
- Working knowledge of code and script (Java, JavaScript, bash, Python preferred).
- Production-level coding experience.
