Responsibilities
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities
- Prepare detailed financial statements and supporting documentation
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards
- Oversee property-level accounting records and reconciliations
- Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audit cycles
- Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives for property divisions
- Analyze variances between actual and projected financial performance
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Review lease accounting treatments in accordance with standards
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable processes for accuracy
- Ensure timely tax filings and coordinate with tax advisors
- Provide financial insights to operational teams for decision-making
- Standardize accounting procedures across multiple property entities
- Train junior staff on accounting policies and software tools
- Identify opportunities to improve financial controls and efficiency
- Prepare reports for senior management and stakeholders
- Handle intercompany transactions and reconciliations
- Support due diligence for property acquisitions and dispositions
