AIT Worldwide Logistics, Inc. was looking for a Senior Account Executive

Drive growth in global logistics with a leading 3PL provider. As a Senior Account Executive, you'll lead business development efforts by identifying and converting high-value opportunities within international freight forwarding and supply chain services. You’ll leverage an established network to generate sustainable, profitable revenue while aligning solutions to client-specific needs.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute strategic business plans to meet and exceed sales quotas and financial targets.
  • Build lasting client relationships by understanding operational challenges and delivering customized logistics solutions.
  • Deliver compelling presentations that demonstrate value across multiple service offerings.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless implementation and ongoing customer satisfaction.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting, regular progress updates, and performance metrics to leadership.
  • Identify new entry points within accounts by presenting a full suite of logistics capabilities.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven success closing deals in the $500,000 to $1M+ range and consistently surpassing sales goals.
  • Deep understanding of international logistics, freight forwarding, and supply chain operations.
  • Strong negotiation skills, business insight, and persuasive communication abilities.
  • Adaptability in a fast-changing environment with shifting client demands and strategic priorities.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management capabilities.
  • Self-motivated with a drive to manage multiple accounts and uncover new opportunities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM platforms, and standard sales tools.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to team success.
  • Commitment to professional development, mentorship, and continuous improvement.

Preferred Background

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Six or more years in freight forwarding sales.
  • Hands-on operational experience in freight forwarding is highly valued.

Compensation & Benefits

Earn commissions up to 6% based on performance against goals, in addition to a competitive base salary range of $89,230 – $154,660. Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision, prescription coverage, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, life and AD&D insurance, disability, supplemental health, 401(k) with match, tuition reimbursement, and pet insurance.

Time off includes 10–20 days of vacation (based on tenure), 2 personal days, 1 floating holiday, 5 sick days, 5 volunteer hours, 6 company holidays, and Veterans Day observed for veterans. Paid parental leave is also offered.

Work Environment

This role operates within a defined geographical territory, balancing remote work with client-facing responsibilities. Flexibility exists in managing location, but engagement across the region is expected.
