About the Role
The specialist will oversee daily security operations, conduct incident investigations, maintain system integrity, and support emergency preparedness across multiple locations.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security camera feeds and alarm systems around the clock
- Respond promptly to security alerts and on-site incidents
- Document all security-related events with detailed reports
- Coordinate with local law enforcement during emergencies
- Conduct regular facility inspections for safety compliance
- Identify and report potential security vulnerabilities
- Support investigations into theft, fraud, or misconduct
- Maintain logs of access control and entry activity
- Assist in emergency drills and crisis response planning
- Ensure security systems are functioning properly
- Escalate critical incidents to management immediately
- Follow established protocols during emergency evacuations
- Track and manage visitor and vendor access
- Collaborate with internal teams on incident resolution
- Provide input for improving security policies
- Respond to medical or safety emergencies on-site
- Enforce company safety and security standards
- Operate two-way radios and communication devices
- Review and analyze incident trends for reporting
- Support after-hours security operations as needed
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Assist in training new security personnel
- Update security databases with incident details
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Participate in audits of security procedures
