Twilio is hiring a Security Compliance Associate Analyst

About the Role

The individual in this position will help maintain security compliance by coordinating audit activities, tracking controls, and ensuring alignment with industry standards and internal policies.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing for internal and external security audits
  • Maintain documentation for compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001
  • Track implementation and effectiveness of security controls
  • Support evidence collection and response to auditor requests
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather compliance-related data
  • Monitor compliance deadlines and follow up on outstanding items
  • Update compliance tracking systems with current status and findings
  • Help draft and revise security policies and procedures
  • Conduct routine reviews to verify control adherence
  • Identify gaps in compliance posture and recommend corrective actions
  • Participate in compliance readiness assessments
  • Assist with onboarding new compliance requirements
  • Maintain records of compliance activities and artifacts
  • Support incident response efforts related to compliance obligations
  • Stay current with evolving regulatory and industry standards
  • Provide updates to stakeholders on compliance status
  • Work with external assessors during audit cycles
  • Ensure documentation meets evidentiary standards
  • Contribute to process improvements in compliance workflows
  • Support training initiatives related to security policies

Nice to Have

  • Entry-level certification such as CompTIA Security+ or similar
  • Coursework or experience in risk assessment methodologies
  • Familiarity with GRC platforms or compliance automation tools
  • Exposure to privacy regulations such as GDPR or CCPA
  • Experience in a SaaS or cloud-based environment
