We are seeking a skilled SAP EWM Technical Consultant for a contract engagement to lead technical design and development in Extended Warehouse Management environments. This role focuses on delivering robust, scalable solutions that enhance warehouse operations through intelligent system integration and custom development.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement technical architectures for SAP EWM, including service providers and master data layer configurations.
- Develop, test, and deploy custom reports, interfaces, forms, and enhancements using ABAP OOPs.
- Configure and optimize RF screens, Monitor reporting, and warehouse execution frameworks.
- Lead integration between ERP and EWM systems, ensuring seamless data flow and process alignment.
- Collaborate directly with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored technical solutions.
- Support warehouse processes such as goods receipt/issue, physical inventory, production supply, and replenishment.
- Enhance operations using yard management, labor management, slotting, and cross-docking functionalities.
Required Expertise
- Proven experience as an SAP EWM Technical Consultant for 7–12 years.
- Strong command of ABAP Object-Oriented Programming for EWM customizations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of EWM organizational structures, master data, and process-driven storage controls.
- Hands-on experience with Warehouse Monitor, RF Framework, and wave-based processing.
- Familiarity with quality inspections, serial number handling, and production integration.
- Experience in analytics and reporting within Extended Warehouse Management.
- Excellent communication and client-facing abilities, with the ability to work independently.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with PPF (Output Determination) configurations.
- Additional ABAP development capabilities beyond core EWM requirements.
- Knowledge of enterprise mobility solutions and warehouse hardware integration.
