Responsibilities
- Design robotic mechanisms and subsystems tailored to specific tasks
- Develop and implement control algorithms for autonomous operation
- Integrate sensors such as LiDAR, cameras, and IMUs into robotic platforms
- Test robotic systems in simulated and real-world environments
- Collaborate with software engineers to ensure seamless integration
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues during development
- Optimize system performance for speed, accuracy, and energy efficiency
- Document designs, test results, and system specifications
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Support field deployment and post-deployment maintenance
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field
- Professional experience with autonomous mobile robots
- Publication or project portfolio in robotics research
- Experience with SLAM algorithms and navigation stacks
