Responsibilities
- Assist in building and refining a robust, enterprise-wide controls framework.
- Evaluate current control mechanisms to identify gaps and recommend improvements.
- Lead ongoing initiatives to strengthen controls, enhance efficiency, and minimize operational risk.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and process owners to support risk-informed management decisions within defined risk tolerance levels.
- Contribute to evaluating business unit risk appetite in response to evolving market conditions, regulations, and strategic goals.
- Work with cross-functional teams to analyze emerging risks and establish effective risk reduction strategies.
- Support implementation of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework and ensure compliance with risk and compliance policies.
- Partner with business units to review control procedures and pinpoint opportunities for optimization.
- Monitor regulatory updates and industry standards to ensure control practices remain current and compliant.
- Provide periodic reporting to senior leadership on the status and effectiveness of control assessments and design.
- Evaluate risks associated with business decisions, emphasizing regulatory compliance, ethical conduct, firm reputation, and accountability in team oversight.
