Responsibilities
- Evaluate alerts from automated monitoring systems to detect unusual transaction patterns or processing anomalies
- Assess reports from internal systems and departments to uncover potential processing issues and reduce financial exposure
- Work with teams across functions to develop, share, and apply risk reduction strategies while meeting regulatory requirements
- Track evolving trends and threats in payment technologies and adjust risk evaluation methods as needed
- Interpret financial and business records to identify patterns, signs of fraud, and risk indicators
- Engage in verbal and written communication with merchants and issuing banks to resolve escalated issues, collect details, and take corrective actions
- Create and update standard operating procedures and streamline workflows to support consistent risk management practices
- Carry out additional tasks as directed by leadership
