Xplor is hiring a Risk Analyst- REMOTE

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate alerts from automated monitoring systems to detect unusual transaction patterns or processing anomalies
  • Assess reports from internal systems and departments to uncover potential processing issues and reduce financial exposure
  • Work with teams across functions to develop, share, and apply risk reduction strategies while meeting regulatory requirements
  • Track evolving trends and threats in payment technologies and adjust risk evaluation methods as needed
  • Interpret financial and business records to identify patterns, signs of fraud, and risk indicators
  • Engage in verbal and written communication with merchants and issuing banks to resolve escalated issues, collect details, and take corrective actions
  • Create and update standard operating procedures and streamline workflows to support consistent risk management practices
  • Carry out additional tasks as directed by leadership
