Responsibilities
- Monitor real-time transaction data for signs of suspicious behavior
- Investigate potential fraud cases using internal tools and external databases
- Classify and document fraud incidents according to company protocols

- Develop and refine rules within the fraud detection system
- Conduct root cause analysis on confirmed fraud events
- Maintain accurate records of all investigative actions
- Respond to internal queries related to fraud alerts
- Support the implementation of new fraud prevention strategies
- Track and report on key fraud metrics and trends
- Evaluate merchant onboarding applications for risk indicators
- Assess customer behavior patterns for anomalies
- Verify identity information during dispute resolution
- Provide feedback to improve automated detection models
- Stay current with evolving fraud tactics in digital finance
- Assist in training team members on fraud recognition
- Review chargeback documentation for compliance
- Validate transaction legitimacy using third-party sources
- Escalate complex cases to senior analysts
- Ensure adherence to internal risk policies
- Support audits by providing fraud-related data
- Participate in post-incident reviews
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial data
