Shape the future of autonomy through foundational 3D research
What You'll Do
- Lead research in 3D vision, including world-action models, multi-modal pretraining, and feed-forward Gaussian splatting, with applications to autonomous driving and robotics.
- Develop and refine next-generation 3D foundation models that support perception, planning, and simulation in complex environments.
- Collaborate with research and engineering teams to transition novel algorithms from prototype to production in autonomy and simulation systems.
- Prepare and submit work to leading conferences in computer vision, machine learning, and robotics.
What We're Looking For
- Advanced degree in machine learning, computer vision, or a related field, with a focus on autonomy or robotics applications.
- Proven research contributions in 3D vision, reconstruction, or generative modeling, demonstrated through publications in top-tier venues.
- Strong programming skills in Python and PyTorch, with experience in distributed training and robotics pipelines.
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with researchers, engineers, and interns.
- Deep interest in scalable, real-world autonomous systems and the technical challenges they present.
Preferred Expertise
- Hands-on work in 3D foundation models or multi-modal pretraining frameworks.
- Experience with feed-forward Gaussian splatting or advanced 3D reconstruction techniques.
- Familiarity with world foundation models and end-to-end 3D/multi-view architectures for robotics or self-driving systems.
Work Environment
Researchers operate in a collaborative, fast-moving setting focused on technical excellence and real-world impact. The role is primarily onsite at one of our global locations, with flexibility to accommodate personal commitments such as morning remote starts or early departures when needed.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive annual salary ranging from $126,000 to $423,000 USD, depending on experience.
- Equity compensation in the form of stock options or restricted stock units.
- Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
- 401k plan with employer matching.
- Stipends for learning and wellness.
- Paid time off and flexible scheduling to support work-life balance.
