Responsibilities
- Provide remote analytical support to field operatives and intelligence personnel
- Conduct in-depth analysis of counterintelligence data and reporting
- Identify, assess, and report on foreign intelligence threats
- Support investigations by evaluating collected intelligence information
- Produce written assessments and briefings for operational decision-makers
- Collaborate with intelligence partners across multiple agencies
- Maintain awareness of adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures
- Analyze patterns of behavior indicative of espionage or sabotage
- Contribute to threat warning products and vulnerability assessments
- Ensure analytical products meet timeliness and accuracy standards
- Apply structured analytic methods to reduce cognitive bias
- Support operational planning with intelligence insights
- Respond to urgent intelligence queries from deployed teams
- Maintain currency with relevant intelligence databases and tools
- Participate in after-action reviews and lessons learned sessions
- Assist in the development of CI training materials and scenarios
- Monitor emerging threats and shifts in adversary strategies
- Validate source reporting and assess credibility
- Support liaison activities with law enforcement and defense partners
- Ensure compliance with intelligence dissemination policies
- Maintain secure handling of classified information
- Update intelligence records and tracking systems
- Conduct link and network analysis on suspect individuals or groups
- Support all-source fusion efforts with related intelligence disciplines
- Adapt analytical focus based on evolving operational requirements
