Telespazio Belgium is seeking a Security Architecture Engineer to provide security engineering support for the IRIS2 program, with a particular focus on 5G Stack protocols. You will define and review security architectures for space and ground assets, ensuring compliance with security standards throughout the system lifecycle.
What You'll Do
- Provide Security Engineering support for IRIS2 entrusted tasks, particularly for 5G Stack protocols.
- Support system and subsystem-level security architecture definition.
- Follow and review security architecture for space and ground assets providing 5G-based services.
- Follow interface definition with security considerations.
- Follow accreditation activities for the 5G protocol stack and propose trade-offs.
- Provide support and guidance on ad-hoc security certification aspects (CC, CDE, TEMPEST).
- Follow 3GPP standards security aspects and ensure solution compliance.
- Conduct requirements engineering and consolidation.
- Define functional and physical architectures.
- Perform design trade-off analysis.
- Define interfaces.
- Conduct technical risk assessments.
- Prepare work items for standardization bodies like 3GPP, NATO, or STANAG.
- Participate in Industrial Milestone Reviews.
- Support ESA in reviewing industrial contract technical milestones.
- Perform technical assessment of industrial deliverables.
- Prepare review comments.

- Eligibility to obtain a security personal clearance from an EU Member State national security administration.
