Responsibilities
- Consolidate regional demand volumes and negotiate advantageous supplier terms to secure optimal pricing.
- Track market dynamics and consumption patterns to determine ideal procurement timing.
- Design and execute sourcing strategies that reduce costs and improve efficiency while meeting quality benchmarks and adhering to procurement policies, with an emphasis on process innovation.
- Negotiate supply and rebate agreements in alignment with corporate controls, maintaining key relationships with global suppliers of steel, polyethylene, PVC compounds, and other resins.
- Assess supplier performance to confirm compliance with contractual obligations and quality requirements.
- Deliver annual cost savings and enhance the organization's net working capital position.
- Develop strategic sourcing initiatives for raw material procurement, including negotiation, contract execution, and ongoing management.
- Navigate complex supply chain challenges involving markets, risk distribution, senior-level relationships, manufacturing constraints, and material shortages.
- Oversee performance evaluation and benchmarking of raw material-related expenses.
- Identify, prioritize, and communicate critical issues and opportunities, advocating for changes that strengthen cost competitiveness.
- Support the creation and implementation of supply risk mitigation strategies and supplier quality assurance processes, including procedural controls.
- Create dashboard reports and manage complex databases to track regional performance metrics and KPIs.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Senior Category Buyer managing negotiations with global suppliers.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, R&D, Manufacturing, Finance, and Quality teams to uncover supply chain improvements.
