Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is hiring a QA Engineer to uphold our standards for high-quality software. In this remote role in India, you will be responsible for designing and executing robust QA strategies across the full development lifecycle, working closely with development, marketing, and product teams to verify compliance, identify defects, and ensure successful deployments.
What You'll Do
- Design, execute, and maintain manual end-to-end tests across front-end, back-end, and integrated systems to detect defects.
- Develop detailed test plans and test cases in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Test new features within agile iterations and deliver rapid feedback through manual and automated methods.
- Write clear, comprehensive bug reports and test documentation while collaborating to resolve issues.
- Contribute to integration, system, performance, and user-acceptance testing across multiple projects.
- Ensure accurate metadata input and tracking in tools such as Ziflow, Jira, and Asana.
- Troubleshoot testing issues, ensure compliance with relevant standards, and support campaign deployment processes.
- Act as a key liaison between QA and marketing teams to flag and resolve site bugs.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the software development lifecycle and software testing.
- Proficiency in QA methodologies, processes, and requirements analysis.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, Java, XML, HTTP protocol, and browser debugging tools.
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, Git, Jenkins, and project management platforms like Asana.
- Ability to communicate issues and deadlines effectively to various stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with eagerness to leverage automation and AI tools for efficiency.
- Proven ability to manage concurrent projects under tight deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail.
