About the Role

The role involves coordinating public health research efforts within a surgical context, including data collection, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with research and clinical teams to ensure study integrity and progress.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and maintain research records and regulatory documentation
  • Recruit and screen participants according to study criteria
  • Obtain informed consent from research subjects
  • Collect, document, and manage clinical and survey data
  • Ensure adherence to institutional review board (IRB) requirements
  • Coordinate communication between research staff and clinical teams
  • Schedule participant visits and follow-up activities
  • Enter and verify data for accuracy and completeness
  • Assist in preparing reports and presentations for stakeholders
  • Monitor study timelines and support protocol implementation
  • Conduct literature reviews to support research objectives
  • Maintain confidentiality of participant information
  • Track study supplies and manage inventory needs
  • Support grant-related documentation and progress tracking
  • Attend team meetings and contribute to project planning
  • Identify and report adverse events as required
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional research policies
  • Assist in developing study materials and data collection tools
  • Perform data quality checks and resolve discrepancies
  • Collaborate with investigators to interpret findings

Compensation
