This role is responsible for managing the financial and scheduling components of SAP implementation projects from initiation through delivery. You will ensure project performance aligns with approved budgets and timelines by closely tracking expenditures, identifying variances, and delivering accurate financial forecasts.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor actual project spending against allocated budgets and flag discrepancies
- Generate regular financial summaries and project status reports for stakeholders
- Track progress against milestones and critical deadlines
- Identify potential risks related to cost and scheduling, and recommend corrective actions
- Support project planning by contributing to timeline development and resource forecasting
- Prepare documentation and analytical materials to support management decisions
- Collaborate with finance and project delivery teams to maintain control over project performance
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong analytical abilities with a focus on logical problem-solving
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with international teams
- Proficiency in interpreting complex data sets and producing structured, clear reports
- High level of accuracy, independence, and attention to detail
- Fluency in English, Slovak, and German (written and spoken)
- Advanced skills in MS Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization
- Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate issues and suggest practical solutions
Preferred Background
- Familiarity with ERP platforms such as SAP
- Experience with project management tools like MS Project, Jira, or Power BI
- Understanding of core project management concepts including scheduling, milestone tracking, and risk assessment
Work Environment
This position offers a hybrid working model, allowing flexibility to work remotely or from any of our locations in Bratislava, Zvolen, Košice, Žilina, Walldorf (Germany), Austria, Switzerland, Australia, or the USA. Working hours are adaptable to support work-life balance.
