Foodics is hiring a Professional Services Specialist - Remote Cities

Role Overview

As a Professional Services Specialist, you will lead the deployment and training process for our software in remote locations across Egypt. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring seamless onboarding by installing, configuring, and troubleshooting systems on-site, while delivering hands-on training to customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct on-site setup, configuration, and training for POS hardware, printers, and networking equipment at customer locations
  • Travel regularly to remote cities to support new implementations and resolve technical issues
  • Ensure systems are fully operational before launch, including end-to-end testing
  • Deliver training sessions for cashiers and console operators to ensure smooth adoption
  • Respond to inbound service calls through the unified support line
  • Monitor assigned tasks and projects, delivering services within agreed service level agreements
  • Close out completed projects and provide feedback to management on potential product or process improvements
  • Stay up to date with software updates and new features to deliver accurate, current training and support
  • Collaborate with Sales, Onboarding, and Support teams to ensure a coordinated customer experience

Qualifications

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Networking, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. You should be based in Alexandria and have 1–2 years of experience in IT, software, or SaaS environments. Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Fluency in both English and Arabic is mandatory.

You must be self-motivated, capable of working independently across teams, and adaptable to a fast-changing environment. Frequent travel across Egypt is a core part of this role, so flexibility and comfort working remotely are essential.

Preferred Experience

Experience with POS systems, field technical support, or networking fundamentals—including routers, LAN, printers, and IP configuration—is an advantage.
