Nebius is hiring a Procurement Manager, Engineering & Equipment to administer competitive bidding, negotiate commercial terms, and evaluate suppliers for our facilities. You will manage procurement for design, construction, and operational commodities within a dynamic environment focused on AI cloud infrastructure.
What You'll Do
- Manage multiple procurement projects concurrently.
- Formulate requests for proposal, quotations, and information; coordinate the development of technical specifications, and perform bid analysis and risk evaluations.
- Administer and lead cross-functional teams through the competitive bidding process.
- Direct supplier negotiations and select suppliers in line with company policies.
- Collaborate with construction management to interpret schedules and synchronize the purchasing of materials, equipment, supplies, and furnishings.
- Strategically source equipment and services using various methods to ensure an uninterrupted supply.
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on their delivery capabilities and budgetary alignment.
- Negotiate construction contracts to minimize operational, legal, and financial risks.
- Track material and service costs and supplier performance using approved metrics.
- Analyze trends to inform sourcing decisions.
- Maintain regular contact with suppliers.
- Lead or participate in supplier meetings to resolve issues and ensure clarity on requirements.
- Perform work aligned with departmental KPI goals.
What We're Looking For
- Knowledge of renewable construction, engineering, and equipment purchasing processes with a commercial focus on project contracts.
- Ability to operate in a high-performance company with multiple compliance, safety, quality, and environmental management systems.
- Strong written and oral communication skills; fluency in English.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external customers and suppliers.
- Self-starter mindset with excellent planning, project management, and organizational skills.
- Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of Oracle NetSuite financial and procurement systems.
