Senior Data Engineer
Technology-driven healthcare solutions organization seeks a skilled Data Engineer to join our innovative team. We collaborate with medical groups, health systems, and technology platforms to optimize physician practices and improve patient experiences.
The Senior Data Engineer will work within a dynamic team building and modernizing our data infrastructure, leveraging SQL Server Enterprise on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Snowflake, and Python. The ideal candidate possesses experience with large datasets, cloud data warehousing, and a passion for continuous learning and problem-solving in healthcare technology.
Primary Job Duties:
- Assume end-to-end project ownership
- Architect high-performance, resilient data pipelines
- Develop deep understanding of entire data layer
- Participate in architectural design discussions
- Create high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems
- Champion best practices and continuous improvement
- Mentor junior developers
- Contribute across development lifecycle
- Deliver efficient, well-designed, testable code
- Ensure design compliance with specifications
- Implement dev-ops mindset
- Investigate emerging technologies
- Operate within Agile/JIRA framework
- Execute additional assigned responsibilities
Qualifications:
- 4+ years commercial data warehouse implementation
- 2+ years cloud data warehouse experience (Snowflake preferred)
- 1+ year Python experience
- MySQL/MSSQL proficiency
- API integration experience
- SQL, SSIS, ETL job expertise
- Proven software delivery track record
- Strong technology learning orientation
- Commitment to automated testing
- Agile SDLC familiarity
- HIPAA compliance understanding
- Remote work capability with private workspace

Compensation Range: $144,000-$160,000 base salary, potential 15% annual bonus, restricted stock units. Comprehensive benefits package included.
