Responsibilities
- Create software solutions for airborne weather radar platforms
- Conduct signal processing tasks such as doppler and spectral analysis tailored to weather detection
- Process raw in-phase and quadrature (I/Q) data to build detection algorithms
- Participate in the engineering of RF systems with a focus on radar system design
- Evaluate and verify statistical metrics related to RF link quality, performance, and dependability
- Devise innovative approaches to resolve complex technical challenges
- Lead product lifecycle initiatives, including requirement definition and traceability
- Prepare and present technical white papers for executive-level review
- Guide early-career engineers to enhance team-wide technical capabilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert on radar and signal processing topics
- Oversee project execution to ensure adherence to timelines and technical standards
- Collaborate with clients to confirm design alignment with operational needs and expectations
