Shape the future of underwater perception by building intelligent systems that interpret complex sensor data from aquatic environments. In this role, you'll create algorithms that transform raw inputs into precise, actionable insights, enabling smarter fish farm management across the globe.
What You'll Do
- Develop and refine algorithms that correct for underwater distortions, noise, and physical limitations in sensor data
- Design and implement multi-sensor fusion techniques to align and enhance data accuracy across diverse hardware
- Construct processing pipelines that generate 3D models from heterogeneous sensor inputs
- Apply both classical methods and deep learning to detect and classify objects and features in aquatic settings
- Integrate robust, testable code into production systems, primarily using Python, ensuring scalability and reliability
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of three years in perception, signal processing, or a closely related domain
- Proficiency in Python and SQL, with a strong foundation in software engineering practices
- Proven work in sensor fusion, 3D vision (e.g., SLAM, point clouds), or state estimation
- Experience with version control, testing frameworks, and deployment workflows
Nice-to-Have
- Background in underwater acoustics or sonar signal analysis
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, dbt, or Airflow
- Hands-on experience with Docker and AWS-based development environments
