About the Role
This position involves delivering clinical research services directly in patients’ homes, ensuring protocol compliance, patient safety, and accurate data collection while supporting decentralized trials.
Responsibilities
- Perform home-based clinical assessments according to study protocols
- Conduct patient screenings and enrollment procedures
- Collect biospecimens and vital signs during home visits
- Administer investigational treatments as directed
- Monitor patients for adverse events and report findings
- Ensure adherence to Good Clinical Practice guidelines
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic documentation
- Coordinate with remote study teams for visit scheduling
- Educate participants about study requirements and safety
- Verify patient eligibility prior to study procedures
- Follow standardized operating procedures for all tasks
- Safeguard patient confidentiality and privacy
- Transport medical supplies to and from visit locations
- Operate portable clinical equipment in home settings
- Respond to patient inquiries during and between visits
- Support remote monitoring by providing detailed visit reports
- Participate in virtual study training and team meetings
- Adapt to varying home environments while maintaining safety standards
- Escalate protocol deviations or safety concerns promptly
- Ensure proper storage and handling of investigational products
- Assist with remote device setup for digital trial components
- Collaborate with coordinators to track patient retention
- Maintain current clinical certifications and training
- Follow infection control practices during in-person visits
- Support audit readiness through complete recordkeeping
