Payment Product Manager
Drive the full lifecycle of payment service products in a fast-evolving fintech environment. You'll be responsible for guiding initiatives from concept through rollout, ensuring delivery aligns with strategic objectives, customer needs, and operational realities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product delivery, coordinating planning, milestones, and execution across teams to meet business targets.
- Own release scheduling, including resource alignment and readiness checks, to ensure consistent and reliable product launches.
- Develop and maintain detailed delivery roadmaps, tracking progress across all stages from initiation to deployment.
- Monitor delivery performance using defined KPIs, measuring efficiency, quality, and timeline adherence.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and blockers early, and implement strategies to keep projects on track.
- Facilitate communication between technology, business, and customer-facing teams to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Report regularly on delivery status, covering timelines, risks, resource use, and issue resolution.
- Use customer feedback and operational data to refine delivery processes and improve outcomes.
Qualifications
- 8–10 years of direct experience in payment services, with a focus on card issuing and transaction systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Proven track record delivering products using Agile frameworks such as Scrum, DevOps, and SAFe, with an emphasis on iterative development.
- Deep familiarity with payment technologies including POS/ECR systems, payment gateways, eCommerce processing, acquiring platforms, and core banking infrastructure.
- Professional experience within fintech or banking institutions is required.
- Knowledge of MADA regulations is highly beneficial.
