Foundry for Good is hiring a Part‑time Full‑Stack WordPress Developer to build and elevate mission-driven websites from blank themes, with a focus on design polish, speed, and security. This role offers a direct path to a full‑time leadership position as WordPress Lead, where you would own our entire WordPress roster and scale the practice.
What You'll Do
- Build and elevate mission-driven websites from a blank Enfold (or similar) theme.
- Create sales collateral (slide deck & 1-pager pricing sheet) and webpage copy for service-line landing pages at kickoff.
- Produce thought leadership content: a monthly 30-min webinar, 2 monthly outbound/nurture emails, 2 monthly LinkedIn posts, and 1 monthly AI-assisted blog post.
- Spin up new sites using page builders like Enfold.
- Create beautiful new pages, tweak CSS, compress media, and optimize Core Web Vitals.
- Manage WP Engine staging to production deployments, schedule backups, and monitor uptime.
- Troubleshoot plugin conflicts, perform routine updates, and lock down security settings.
- Package dramatic speed gains into the content cadence.
- Report wins & next steps to the Service Development Manager in a weekly 30-minute checkpoint.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years building and maintaining WordPress sites with theme builders like Enfold, Elementor, or Divi.
- Confident with PHP tweaks, basic JS, WP CLI, and Git workflows.
- Experience managing WP Engine (or similar) hosting environments.
- Portfolio of multiple relaunched sites highlighting performance or UX improvements.
- Able to work Mon–Fri, 8 a.m.–12 p.m. ET from anywhere in the Philippines.
- Home office with reliable internet (WFH; independent contractor).
- Graduated from a Top 4 University (UP, DSLU, Ateneo, UST) in the Philippines with competitive grades.
