Responsibilities
- Reports housekeeping issues to the appropriate staff member
- Reports equipment malfunctions to supervising personnel
- Engages in inventory management by noting low supply levels
- Supports patients in keeping their surroundings clean
- Promotes a structured and secure environment for patients and staff
- Helps patients with everyday personal care tasks
- Recognizes hygiene requirements and takes action to address them
- Ensures patients receive proper nutrition as per unit guidelines
- Offers support to patients during medical evaluations and procedures
- Accompanies and monitors patients during ground-level movements to ensure safety
- Demonstrates dedication to professional development and skill maintenance
- Completes required training sessions as mandated
- Collaborates with supervisor to assess professional strengths and growth areas
- Maintains expertise in caring for patients across different age groups
- Seeks performance feedback from colleagues and team members
- Takes part in post-incident reviews following critical events
