We are seeking a skilled Masterdata COBOL Developer to play a key role in building and maintaining robust customer solutions using core mainframe technologies. You will be responsible for end-to-end development tasks, including system design, deployment, error resolution, testing, database administration, and ongoing customer support.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain mission-critical applications using COBOL and related mainframe technologies
- Collaborate with agile delivery teams and engage directly with stakeholders to ensure alignment and delivery excellence
- Handle production deployments, troubleshooting, and ongoing system maintenance
- Support test activities and ensure data integrity through effective database management
- Produce clear and accurate technical documentation
- Participate in remote and on-site meetings as part of a flexible hybrid work model
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven expertise in COBOL, DB2, SQL, z/OS, and JCL
- Strong experience with mainframe integrations and production support
- Fluency in both Swedish and English, written and spoken
- Familiarity with GDPR requirements in technical environments
- Experience in customer-facing development and maintenance projects
- Ability to work independently, manage tasks efficiently, and contribute to team success
