Responsibilities
- Oversee the processing of orders from receipt to delivery.
- Ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
- Arrange and coordinate transportation for goods.
- Optimize transportation routes and methods to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Analyze logistics data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Generate reports on logistics performance metrics.
- Maintain and update logistics systems and software.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy within logistics systems.
- Liaise with vendors and carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Prepare and maintain necessary documentation for shipments.
- Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies in the logistics process.
- Implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
- Implement best practices in logistics and supply chain management.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective logistics management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any Business, Engineering, Finance or any related courses
- 1-2 years’ experience within logistics area or purchasing transactional activities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in logistics software and systems.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
