About the Role
This position is responsible for evaluating licensing applications, performing compliance checks, and ensuring adherence to state regulations through documentation, site visits, and coordination with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Review and process licensing applications for compliance with state standards
- Conduct on-site inspections and interviews to verify program adherence
- Evaluate documentation for completeness and regulatory alignment
- Maintain accurate records within agency databases
- Communicate with applicants and facility representatives to resolve deficiencies
- Prepare reports summarizing compliance findings
- Support enforcement actions when standards are not met
- Interpret regulatory codes to determine licensing eligibility
- Respond to public inquiries regarding licensing status
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistent application of policies
- Track case progress and meet established timelines
- Provide technical assistance during appeals processes
- Participate in interagency initiatives related to regulatory oversight
- Identify trends in non-compliance and recommend procedural improvements
- Ensure confidentiality of sensitive records and personal information

Work Environment
- Roles may be based in Portland or Tualatin with regular travel expected between sites
