Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, and clean interior floors and surfaces regularly.
- Operate light and heavy commercial floor buffers and shampoo machines with attachments.
- Vacuum office and public area rugs; perform spot cleaning and scheduled shampooing.
- Dust and clean furniture, frames, chairs, door trims, light fixtures, and all horizontal surfaces, including high dusting as needed.
- Wash interior window sills, glass partitions, and designated windows.
- Clean glass and trim on entrance doors and interior walls as required on a daily basis.
- Service restrooms daily by sanitizing fixtures, restocking supplies, and cleaning all surfaces.
- Inspect for maintenance issues such as clogged fixtures or burned-out lights and report to management.
- Collect trash from throughout the building and transport to designated disposal areas.
- Replace waste basket and trash container liners according to specifications.
- Clear snow and ice from building entrances, walkways, and connecting paths when instructed.
- Perform periodic cleaning tasks including high dusting, polishing wood and leather surfaces, and washing walls.
