Lead the development and deployment of industrial edge systems that power digital transformation across global mining and minerals operations. In this role, you will shape the architecture and implementation of edge solutions—from devices to connectivity layers—ensuring reliability, security, and performance in harsh industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain edge computing platforms that process data locally across distributed industrial sites
- Develop software components that interface with sensors, machinery, and control systems using industrial protocols
- Integrate edge devices with cloud platforms through secure, low-latency communication layers
- Support on-site commissioning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of deployed systems
- Ensure all technical activities align with zero harm principles and reinforce a culture of safety
What You Bring
- Proven background in IIoT, operational technology integration, or industrial automation with real-world deployment experience
- Familiarity with industrial environments, particularly in mining or heavy processing sectors
- Working knowledge of OPC UA, Modbus, Profinet, MQTT, or Sparkplug B
- Strong coding skills in Node.js, Python, or .NET for building robust, maintainable software
- Experience in customer-facing technical roles, with the ability to translate operational needs into technical solutions
- Eligibility to work without sponsorship in the country of application
