Spotify is looking for a Junior Machine Learning Engineer to join the Subscriptions R&D team, focusing on the User Journey. You will apply machine learning to analyze and enhance how users interact with our platform.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement machine learning models to understand user behavior and journey patterns.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to build scalable ML systems for the Subscriptions domain.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify opportunities for improving user experience and subscription pathways.
  • Deploy and monitor models in production, iterating based on performance and business impact.

What We're Looking For

  • A degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Proficiency in Python and experience with data processing libraries.
  • Solid understanding of machine learning fundamentals, algorithms, and model evaluation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform or AWS.
  • Familiarity with big data tools such as Spark or BigQuery.
  • Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including version control and CI/CD.
  • Interest in the music or audio streaming industry.

Work Mode

This is a hybrid position based in either our London or Stockholm offices.
