ChemTreat, Inc. is hiring a Junior Data Architect

Responsibilities

  • Support the deployment of data applications and help identify and reduce risks during system upgrades
  • Help transfer data and define field mappings between different software systems
  • Carry out data quality procedures and manage regular data import and export operations
  • Work with teams across departments to troubleshoot data problems and improve application efficiency
  • Contribute to the planning and documentation of long-term master data management initiatives
  • Assist in designing data models, analyzing data profiles, and enabling data integration across platforms
  • Support configuration of database permissions and security policies in Snowflake

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or 5 years of equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT, including hands-on work with Azure data services such as Azure Data Factory
  • At least 1 year of experience working with data warehousing, analytics systems, and modern data platforms like Snowflake
  • Knowledge of business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau, SQL, and programming languages including Python or Java
  • Foundational knowledge of data governance principles, data modeling techniques, and cloud infrastructure architecture

A Day In This Role

  • Support data application implementations and assist with risk mitigation during upgrades
  • Assist with data migration and mapping between applications
  • Implement data quality processes and support recurring data imports/exports
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve data issues and optimize application processes
  • Participate in long-term Master Data Management strategies and documentation
  • Support data modeling, profiling, and integration efforts
  • Assist with database access controls and security settings in Snowflake

  • The compensation range for this role is $85,000 - $95,000 USD per year.
