CI&T is seeking a Mid/Senior Observability Engineer in Colombia. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining observability platforms to provide critical insights into system health and performance.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain scalable observability and monitoring systems
- Implement comprehensive logging, metrics, and tracing solutions
- Collaborate with engineering teams to establish SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets
- Build dashboards and alerts to proactively identify and diagnose system issues
- Advocate for and drive observability best practices across the organization
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as an Observability, Site Reliability, or DevOps Engineer
- Strong hands-on experience with modern observability tools and platforms
- Proficiency in instrumenting applications for metrics, logs, and distributed tracing
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and container technologies
- Ability to analyze complex systems and troubleshoot performance and reliability issues
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Nice to Have
- Experience with OpenTelemetry standards and tooling
- Knowledge of AI/ML operations (MLOps) and monitoring
- Scripting or programming skills in languages like Python, Go, or Java
- Contributions to open-source observability projects
