Responsibilities
- Create and sustain scalable microservices using Spring Boot frameworks
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs with frontend systems and external services
- Develop clear, reusable, and maintainable business logic components
- Maintain high code quality through unit and integration testing practices
- Architect and implement microservices-based systems
- Enable communication between services using REST protocols and messaging queues
- Utilize Spring Cloud tools including Config Server, Eureka, and Gateway
- Manage service discovery, centralized configuration, and API gateway patterns
- Design and administer relational database systems, primarily Oracle
- Write efficient SQL queries and manage data migration scripts
- Work with NoSQL databases as needed
- Implement event-driven communication using Apache Kafka
- Package applications into containers using Docker
- Deploy and operate services in Kubernetes environments
- Automate build and deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
- Gain exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
