Join a focused 6-month remote engagement supporting a high-impact project for a leading US-based public technology company. As a Golang Software Engineer, you'll play a central role in building and refining backend infrastructure, ensuring robust system integrations and high-performance service delivery.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with the client’s engineering team to implement precise, reliable system integrations.
- Develop, test, and maintain concurrent, scalable services using Go, following idiomatic patterns.
- Design and integrate RESTful and gRPC APIs to connect enterprise platforms efficiently.
- Enhance system performance, reliability, and data consistency across distributed environments.
- Work within agile workflows, aligning with cross-functional teams to deliver on key milestones.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of 3 years of backend development experience with a strong emphasis on Go (Golang).
- Deep understanding of Go concurrency models, including Goroutines and Channels.
- Proven background in system integration, microservices, or middleware development.
- Clear and effective communication skills in English.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes), especially in Go-based systems.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Familiarity with message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ, or event-driven design patterns.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- Availability to attend meetings during US Eastern Time business hours.
- Prior work with large enterprises or publicly traded technology firms.
