Alfa Laval is looking for an IoT Tech Support Engineer to serve as the first point of contact for our IoT solutions and platform. In this role, you will be instrumental in resolving a wide range of technical issues and implementing innovative support strategies. You will join a global company that challenges conventional thinking to develop world-leading technologies.
What You'll Do
- Handle Incident Management & Resolution from start to finish
- Provide responsive Customer support, both offline and remote
- Manage and resolve tickets in Service Now
- Perform Multi-Platform Technical Troubleshooting
- Support Change Management & Implementation processes
- Monitor and manage Microsoft Azure Services
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in an IT Helpdesk environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong teamwork, communication, and collaboration abilities
- Skill in explaining technical concepts and solutions to non-technical users
- Effective time management, prioritization, adaptability, and flexibility
- Proficiency in active listening and incorporating feedback
- Hands-on experience with the .NET framework and API management
- Experience with Microsoft Azure Services and platform, including Serverless apps and functions, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and Repos
- Knowledge of Basic Networks, Network Administration and Maintenance
Nice to Have
- Experience with SQL database – Meta and Influx series
- Familiarity with Linux and Unix computing
- Knowledge of edge computing
