Responsibilities
- Create and implement iOS applications using Swift and Objective-C
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Support integration with backend services and embedded systems
- Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks
- Conduct code reviews and contribute to team coding standards
- Maintain alignment with security protocols and compliance requirements
- Optimize applications for future device deployments
- Work within agile development environments using iterative delivery methods
- Document technical specifications and development processes
- Participate in architecture and design discussions
- Ensure applications meet accessibility and usability standards
- Integrate third-party libraries and APIs as needed
- Support certification and audit processes for software deployments
- Stay current with emerging iOS technologies and security practices
- Troubleshoot issues across development and production environments
- Collaborate with QA teams to ensure test coverage and reliability
- Implement secure coding practices to protect sensitive data
- Contribute to continuous integration and delivery pipelines
- Support deployment and post-release monitoring of applications
- Work with system engineers to ensure compatibility with hardware platforms
- Assist in defining technical roadmaps for mobile capabilities
- Ensure compliance with software lifecycle management standards
- Participate in sprint planning and retrospective meetings
- Provide technical guidance to junior developers when needed
