About the Role

This role involves managing a range of HR functions for employees in Brazil, including employee relations, compliance with local labor laws, onboarding, performance management, and HR documentation, all while working remotely within a global team structure.

Responsibilities

  • Handle employee inquiries related to HR policies and procedures
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes for new and departing employees
  • Maintain up-to-date employee records and HR databases
  • Assist with performance review cycles and documentation
  • Monitor compliance with Brazilian labor regulations
  • Coordinate HR-related documentation for legal and audit purposes
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee relations issues
  • Support investigations into workplace concerns or conflicts
  • Partner with management on disciplinary actions and corrective measures
  • Provide guidance on leave policies, including maternity and sick leave
  • Ensure consistent application of HR policies across locations
  • Assist in organizing employee engagement initiatives
  • Track workforce metrics and generate HR reports
  • Collaborate with global HR teams on process improvements
  • Support change management efforts within the Brazilian workforce
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive HR information
  • Help implement HR tools and systems locally
  • Advise managers on HR best practices
  • Monitor local employment law updates and advise on impacts
  • Support workforce planning and headcount tracking
