About the Role
This role is responsible for analyzing human resources data to identify trends, generate reports, and support organizational decision-making. The analyst will work closely with HR and business leaders to provide insights that enhance talent management and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Extract, clean, and analyze HR data from multiple sources
- Develop and maintain dashboards for workforce metrics
- Identify patterns in employee data to support retention and engagement strategies
- Collaborate with HR teams to understand data needs
- Translate business questions into analytical frameworks
- Produce regular reports on headcount, turnover, and diversity metrics
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems
- Support ad hoc requests from leadership teams
- Use statistical methods to forecast workforce trends
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information
- Partner with IT to improve data integration processes
- Standardize HR reporting across departments
- Evaluate the impact of HR programs and initiatives
- Present findings to stakeholders in clear, non-technical terms
- Monitor key HR indicators and alert teams to anomalies
- Contribute to the design of data collection methods
- Assist in audits requiring HR data validation
- Improve data governance practices within HR systems
- Automate routine reporting tasks where possible
- Stay current with data privacy regulations affecting HR
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in data science, human resources, or related field
- Experience with Python or R for data analysis
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts
- Prior work in a tech-driven or scaling organization
- Certification in HR analytics or data visualization
- Knowledge of workforce planning models
- Experience with large, complex datasets
- Background in organizational psychology
- Exposure to EEO-1 or other compliance reporting
- Project management experience in analytics initiatives
