About the Role
The Application Development Analyst will contribute to the full lifecycle of software development, from design and coding to testing and deployment, supporting robust and scalable healthcare technology platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement software solutions aligned with business requirements
- Collaborate with product owners and technical teams to define system specifications
- Develop clean, maintainable, and efficient code using best practices
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency
- Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and performance issues
- Support integration of systems and data across platforms
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure software reliability
- Maintain documentation for code, systems, and processes
- Follow agile development methodologies and participate in sprint planning
- Deploy and monitor applications in various environments
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards
- Optimize application performance and response times
- Collaborate with QA teams to validate functionality
- Provide technical support during production incidents
- Stay current with emerging technologies and frameworks
- Participate in architectural discussions and design improvements
- Assist in estimating development effort for new features
- Integrate third-party APIs and services
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and deployments
- Contribute to end-to-end system testing
- Support user acceptance testing activities
- Ensure code adheres to coding standards and guidelines
- Work with database teams on schema design and query optimization
- Develop responsive user interfaces where applicable
- Contribute to technical decision-making within the team
