Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is hiring a Head of Recruiting to lead and shape the talent acquisition function for our growing, mission-focused organization. You will partner closely with leadership, leverage analytics to drive informed decisions, and ensure an exceptional candidate experience within our fully remote environment.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and manage full-cycle recruiting across technical and non-technical roles, including product, engineering, and user research positions.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement sourcing strategies that attract diverse, high-quality talent.
  • Maintain and update key recruitment resources, including candidate sourcing guides, interview protocols, and evaluation frameworks.
  • Monitor recruiting trends and implement best practices for candidate attraction, process efficiency, and compliance with employment regulations.
  • Provide training, mentorship, and support to staff and hiring managers to promote consistent, high-quality recruiting practices.
  • Design and refine processes to track, analyze, and report recruitment metrics, informing strategic decisions and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure a seamless candidate-to-employee experience in collaboration with People Operations.

What We're Looking For

  • Extensive experience in recruitment operations, talent acquisition, and analytics.
  • Proven success recruiting for diverse technical and non-technical positions.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with remote and distributed team hiring.
  • Knowledge of relevant federal and state employment regulations.
  • Expertise with applicant tracking systems (e.g., Greenhouse) and candidate sourcing platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter).
  • Ability to leverage recruiting analytics to measure performance and drive improvements.
  • Capacity to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentorship skills.
  • Passion for public service and mission-driven work.
  • Flexibility to travel occasionally for work.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with AI-powered recruiting tools to streamline processes, reduce bias, and enhance candidate experience.
  • Background in civic tech or government-related hiring.
  • Experience in fully remote team environments.

  • Compensation: $160,000–$200,000 USD
