neoBIM GmbH is hiring a Head of AI Strategy & Development to define and execute the company's AI strategy. This role combines strategic vision with hands-on implementation, overseeing the full AI stack from design to deployment and driving product-centered innovation.
What You'll Do
- Define and execute neoBIM's AI strategy, combining strategic foresight with hands-on implementation.
- Oversee the end-to-end development of advanced AI systems, including generative 3D models, large language models, and multi-modal neural networks.
- Manage the full AI system lifecycle from design to deployment and ongoing optimization.
- Actively contribute to core development tasks, from prototyping and model training to debugging and performance tuning.
- Lead by example as a technical authority who solves complex problems and supports the team in critical engineering decisions.
- Translate cutting-edge AI research into practical, value-creating features within neoBIM's product suite.
- Enable automation, design optimization, and data-driven insights across the full spectrum of planning and construction workflows.
What We're Looking For
- Proven leadership in AI strategy and execution across product and engineering teams in a high-growth or tech-driven environment.
- Expert-level proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
- Strong coding habits and ability to personally contribute to core development tasks.
- Deep experience with training, fine-tuning, and deploying Large Language Models.
- Deep experience with generative AI systems.
- Track record of building and optimizing multimodal or 3D-capable models.
- Experience leading end-to-end AI development, including model training, deployment, performance monitoring, and iteration at scale.
- Deep understanding of MLOps tooling and infrastructure.
- Comfortable building enterprise-grade cloud, hybrid, or on-prem systems.
- Solid grounding in statistics, optimization, and deep learning theory relevant to real-world applications.
