Coperniq is hiring a Lead QA Engineer for our Fuse Finance platform. You will be responsible for establishing and driving the testing strategy across our low-code financial services platform. This foundational role requires building a robust testing framework from the ground up, implementing comprehensive automated testing solutions, and building a high-performing QA team.
What You'll Do
- Architect and implement a comprehensive testing strategy encompassing unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Design and maintain automated test frameworks using TypeScript and modern testing tools
- Establish testing standards, best practices, and documentation for the engineering organization
- Build and lead a QA team, including hiring, mentoring, and professional development
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate testing into the development lifecycle
- Implement test automation for our low-code platform, ensuring quality across configurable components
- Design and maintain continuous integration pipelines for automated testing
- Create and maintain testing environments that mirror production scenarios
- Develop metrics and reporting systems to track testing coverage and effectiveness
- Work closely with product and development teams to understand requirements and ensure quality standards
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years of experience in QA automation with TypeScript
- Extensive experience designing and implementing end-to-end testing frameworks
- Strong background in integration testing methodologies
- Leadership experience in building and managing QA teams
- Deep understanding of testing principles and methodologies
- Experience with test automation frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, Jest, Testing Library
- Strong knowledge of continuous integration and deployment practices
- Experience testing complex web applications and distributed systems
Nice to Have
- Experience with visual regression testing
- Knowledge of performance testing methodologies
- Familiarity with financial services domain
- Experience with API testing frameworks
- Understanding of security testing principles
- Experience with cloud testing environments (AWS)
- Background in testing microservices architectures
- Understanding of low-code platforms and their unique testing challenges
