Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is seeking a Full-stack Web Engineer to drive the design, development, and optimization of our consumer-facing web applications. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your technical expertise and creativity directly influence product performance and user experience.
What You'll Do
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of new features and enhancements for web applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using modern web technologies.
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and champion front-end best practices including responsive design, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Drive continuous improvement in performance, scalability, and maintainability of applications.
- Implement comprehensive testing strategies to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from concept through deployment and maintenance.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of professional experience in front-end web development.
- Expert-level proficiency with Angular and a solid understanding of Angular Store patterns for state management.
- Experience with Node.js and reactive programming concepts such as RXJS.
- Familiarity with NX and/or Monorepo setups.
- Strong understanding of unit testing and the Angular Testing Framework.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-velocity, collaborative, agile team.
- Openness to continuous learning and adapting to new technologies.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Java and Spring Boot microservices.
