Join Rocketcommunications as a Full Stack Developer to solve complex user experience challenges for space applications. You will develop secure, mission-critical web applications using cutting-edge technologies, working with a fun and supportive team on challenging and complex problems.
What You'll Do
- Develop complex, intelligent, and secure web applications with modern web technologies.
- Work closely with internal and external design teams throughout the UI/UX design process.
- Clarify ambiguous designs and build reusable code and components.
What We're Looking For
- Active Top Secret Clearance and eligibility for SCI.
- You must be a US Citizen living in the USA.
- 3+ years of experience developing complex, intelligent, and secure web applications.
- Strong UI developer with modern web technology experience.
- Experience with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS, Javascript ES6+).
- Expertise in at least one object-oriented programming language (Ruby, Python, PHP, or C++).
- Knowledge of modern frameworks, with a strong preference for Angular experience.
- Understanding of W3C compliance and key web application design principles.
- Willing to work onsite daily in Herndon, VA.
Nice to Have
- Experience with or a strong interest in map libraries and data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js).
- Understanding of government and enterprise work.
- Experience in server-side development.
