What You'll Do
Lead the development and refinement of a web-based algorithmic trading platform, delivering a responsive and intuitive interface for users in decentralized finance. You'll implement new features, optimize existing components, and resolve bugs in a fast-paced environment. Work closely with design, product, and backend teams to translate concepts into functional, high-performing UIs that meet the demands of real-time data updates.
Take ownership of project timelines, contribute to task estimation, and ensure reliable delivery. Investigate ways to enhance the platform’s usability and performance, focusing on the client-facing web experience. Communicate technical trade-offs and solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on frontend development with modern JavaScript, CSS, and React
- Familiarity with Redux or similar state management frameworks, including lifecycle patterns and performance implications
- Experience debugging and optimizing applications with frequent UI updates and performance demands
- Solid grasp of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
- Proficiency with Git and GitHub for version control
- Understanding of build tools like Webpack and Babel
- Ability to independently manage tasks, drive consistency in UI design, and deliver polished features
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset when solving problems
- Attention to detail and a drive to implement design visions accurately
- Experience across the software product lifecycle, from concept to deployment
- Self-motivated with a tendency to experiment and improve workflows
- Basic understanding of trading or accounting systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in financial technology or fintech platforms
- Experience with Redux-Sagas or generator functions
- Familiarity with Python or Django
- Exposure to TradingView charting libraries
- Interest or experience in UX and design collaboration
- Skill in writing and maintaining unit tests
