About the Role
This position supports financial planning, analysis, and reporting efforts by delivering insights that guide leadership decisions. The individual will collaborate across departments to build forecasts, track performance, and improve financial processes.
Responsibilities
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and support business decisions
- Develop and maintain financial models and forecasting tools
- Prepare reports for leadership and operational teams
- Collaborate with department leads to understand financial needs
- Monitor key performance metrics and variance to plan
- Support budgeting and planning cycles
- Improve accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes
- Assist in ad hoc financial analysis requests
- Ensure data integrity across financial systems
- Translate financial results into actionable insights
- Work with cross-functional teams to align financial goals
- Track and report on revenue and cost performance
- Maintain documentation for financial processes
- Support audit and compliance activities
- Evaluate financial impact of new initiatives
- Assist in scenario planning and strategic projects
- Standardize reporting templates and dashboards
- Provide input on performance against forecasts
- Help scale financial infrastructure as the company grows
Nice to Have
- Advanced degree or professional certification in finance
- Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP platforms
- Knowledge of Python or SQL for data analysis
- Prior work in remote-first companies
- Experience in subscription-based business models
